You’ve Reached the End of the Internet

A friend urged me to read “The Goal” by Eliyahu Goldratt.  He’s used a story to illustrate that defining your truest goal is paramount.  Otherwise, you’re working on the wrong problem.

This book was very popular about 20 years ago, and many top managers gave copies to their mid-level managers to read.  Sadly, many saw it as another “new book the boss wants me to read” and neglected it.

The radical ideas Goldratt presents don’t work unless everyone understands them and gets on board, so it fell by the wayside. A shame, since it addresses and shows how to resolve many of the thorniest issues in business and personal life today.

I strongly recommend you read this book.
